Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy and Minister of Culture Tetiana Berezhna said this in Ivano-Frankivsk in response to a question from an Ukrinform correspondent.

“We can definitely say that while this year’s budget was UAH 4 billion, the demand – that is, the total amount for which we received applications from the outset – was UAH 15 billion. So, if we had UAH 15 billion, we could have approved all the applications. But that is not the point. The task is to select truly high-quality, valuable projects,” Berezhna said.

At the same time, she noted that, of course, she would like the program’s budget to be twice or even three times larger.
