The ceremony, a tradition sustained across successive generations of military leadership, underscores the continuity of the distinctive military relationship between the two armies and their commitment to strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest, the Army said.

General Seth paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Army Staff, General Ashok Raj Sigdel. During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest and ways to strengthen bilateral military relations.
