According to Ukrinform, the decree to that effect, No. 731/2026, was published on the website of the head of state.
Under Decree No. 730/2026, the president dismissed Volodymyr Karpenko from the position of Commander of the Logistics Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In his evening address, Zelensky said that after discussions with military officials and Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Mykhailo Drapatyi, he had approved the first five personnel decisions in the military.

Pohribnyi has fought against Russian forces since 2014 as part of an artillery brigade, taking part in the liberation of Sloviansk, Kramatorsk and Lyman. In 2016, he became deputy commander for armaments of the 58th Motorized Infantry Brigade. In 2020, he was appointed commander of the 532nd Repair and Recovery Regiment, overseeing technical maintenance of troops on the Kharkiv, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia fronts.
In 2024, he became Chief of Armaments and Deputy Head for Logistics of the Operation Task Force East. He later headed logistics for the Ukrainian Ground Forces, where he successfully introduced a NATO-standard Transport Management System (TMS).
After Drapatyi was appointed Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Pohribnyi became acting commander of the Logistics Forces.
