Head of the Kherson City Military Administration Yaroslav Shanko reported the attack on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
"Enemy aircraft carried out another strike on our community today. This time, Russian invaders attacked the city of Kherson – 10 glide bombs hit social infrastructure facilities in the Korabelnyi and Central districts," Shanko wrote.
The attack damaged apartment buildings and private homes in the city center, with several sustaining critical damage.
Social workers from the Kherson City Military Administration promptly arrived at the strike sites to provide victims with necessary assistance and coordinate immediate response measures.
The administration said that seven people are currently known to have been injured as a result of the air strikes.
Among them was a 69-year-old Kherson resident who was on the balcony of his apartment at the time of the attack. He was diagnosed with a blast injury, closed head injury, acoustic trauma, and shrapnel wounds to his right foot. Doctors provided assistance on site, and he refused hospitalization.
Medical assistance was also provided to a 52-year-old Kherson resident injured in an air strike on the city center at around 10:50. He suffered a concussion, a blast injury, and an acute stress reaction and will receive outpatient treatment.
A 62-year-old woman and a 59-year-old man also received medical care after suffering concussions and blast injuries. The woman was additionally diagnosed with a concussion and a closed head injury, while the man sustained a knee injury. Both were recommended outpatient treatment.

Later, three more Kherson residents sought medical assistance after being injured in the air strike on the city center.
They included an 83-year-old woman who was diagnosed with a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to her right leg. After receiving medical care, she will continue treatment as an outpatient. A 54-year-old man sustained a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to his left hand. Doctors performed initial surgical treatment of the wound and applied stitches; he will also continue treatment as an outpatient. Another injured person, a 56-year-old man, suffered blast and acoustic injuries after an explosion near his home and received the necessary medical assistance.
As reported by Ukrinform, over the previous day in the Kherson region, Russian strikes killed one person and injured 20.
