According to Ukrinform, Pivnenko reported the visit on Facebook.

During his work in combat areas, the National Guard commander discussed the current operational situation, the nature of enemy actions, supply issues, and the most urgent needs with corps and unit commanders.

According to him, "the most difficult situation remains in the Donetsk region, particularly in the Pokrovsk sector of the front. The enemy continues intensive assault operations, actively uses attack drones, aviation, and significant infantry forces."

"In some areas, the ratio of Ukrainian forces to enemy forces reaches 1:6. However, the soldiers of the 1st National Guard Corps Azov continue to hold their assigned positions, repel even surprise attacks, and inflict significant losses on Russian forces in personnel and equipment," the commander emphasized.

He noted that the effective repelling of most enemy attacks has been made possible by thorough reconnaissance, timely detection of enemy forces and assets, and proactive actions by Ukrainian troops.

In the Kharkiv region, units of the 2nd National Guard Corps Khartia continue to hold key positions and conduct strike-and-search operations.

"There is a clear understanding of how we need to act so that the enemy cannot achieve success or create conditions for implementing its plans," Pivnenko said.

Special forces of the National Guard’s Omega Special Operations Center are also effectively carrying out missions in various areas of the front. They are strengthening defenses, including through extensive use of UAVs, carrying out effective strikes, and conducting search-and-strike operations.

"The Russian Su-24M aircraft recently destroyed by Omega special forces at the Saki airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea is one example of how much the effectiveness of this work has increased. Striking targets deep in operational territory is increasingly limiting the enemy’s ability to supply forces and conduct combat operations. We will continue working beyond 100 kilometers and do so even more accurately," Pivnenko said.

He also visited a stabilization point of one of the Ukrainian units, spoke with medical personnel who save soldiers’ lives every day, and thanked them for their critically important work.

"We continue to systematically strengthen the combat capabilities of the National Guard of Ukraine, introduce modern technologies, and provide units with everything necessary to effectively carry out combat missions," Pivnenko added.

As reported by Ukrinform, on July 22, a total of 261 combat engagements between Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops were recorded, with the heaviest fighting taking place in the Pokrovsk sector.
