M11 Energy Transition Pvt. Ltd., a renewable energy company with an integrated biodiesel facility at Padubidri in Udupi district, has been recognised by the New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA) as the Top Exporter of Biofuel for FY 2025–26.

The recognition acknowledges the company’s contribution to the biofuel export ecosystem and comes at a time when coastal Karnataka is emerging as an important hub for renewable energy, manufacturing, and clean-fuel supply chains, Mannan Khan, director, M11 Energy Transition Pvt. Ltd., said in a release on Monday.

M11 Energy operates a large-scale biodiesel facility at Padubidri, where Used Cooking Oil is converted into biodiesel, supporting a circular economy model that transforms a waste resource into an alternative fuel. The Padubidri facility also forms part of M11 Energy’s larger clean-energy ambitions. The company is pursuing opportunities in Sustainable Aviation Fuel, reflecting its focus on supporting the next generation of lower-carbon fuels and India’s evolving energy-transition requirements, the release said.
