A cult-classic game combined with a cult-classic camera makes so much sense. Today, Polaroid unveiled the most perfect combination ever: the Polaroid x Pokémon Special Edition range, and we're tempted to buy it all. Keep in mind that while the special-edition collection launched today, we have to wait until Aug. 25 to preorder items. Set an alarm for placing your order, and let's dive into the details of the collection.

Classic Polaroid cameras with fun Pokémon details

The shining stars of the collection are three Pokémon-themed Polaroid cameras. The Now Gen 3 now comes in a Poké Ball design while the Polaroid Go Gen 3 has either a Pikachu or Sylveon design.

The Poké Ball Polaroid Now Gen 3 shoots in original full-size Polaroid film with dual lens autofocus. The Pokémon special edition will cost $139.99, which is just $10 more than the standard Now Gen 3.

The Pikachu and Sylveon Polaroid Go Gen 3 will both cost $99.99 each.

Film adorned with our favorite monsters

In addition to shooting on a fun camera, Polaroid is launching Pokémon-themed film frames. A yellow frame with Pikachu looking adorable on the bottom strip is a delight, as is the blue frame with Snorlax. Other film options include Eevee, Topegi, Gengar, Charmander, and more.

The Pokémon Edition of Polaroid Color i-Type Film will cost $22.99, and double packs of the Pokémon Polaroid Go Color Film will come with a price of $24.99.

Pokémon accessories for your Polaroid camera

As if we weren't already overloaded with cuteness, the collection also features a few fun Pokémon accessories. The Polaroid Go Camera Case Pokémon Edition will fit any version of the Go camera, and the Polaroid Go Photo Album Pokémon Edition is the ideal place to house your Polaroid memories. There's also the Pokémon Edition Polaroid Camera Strap which feels like the perfect stocking stuffer.

If you're a fan of Pokémon or love the resurgence of analogue cameras, get ready to preorder on Aug. 25 at Polaroid.
