A person is in hospital after a shed fire in Lower Hutt this morning.

Fire and Emergency dispatcher Shannon Lucas said crews were alerted to the Petone incident at 8.55am on Wednesday and arrived at the Plunket Ave address where the shed was engulfed in flames.
