Former Chelsea star, Frank Leboeuf has backed Arsenal to win the Premier League title this season.

Leboeuf also predicted the teams to finish in the Premier League’s top six.

He predicted that his old club, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool will finish in second, third and fourth positions, respectively, behind Arsenal, while Manchester City will finish in fifth place and Tottenham in sixth.

Leboeuf gave his prediction while speaking with ESPN ahead of the Premier League’s opening fixtures this weekend.

Explaining his prediction, the Frenchman said, “I don’t know what is going to happen to Chelsea, Manchester United or Liverpool, but we are judging in the present time, and we saw a game where Arsenal are ready, and if it carries on like that, then they are going to win the Premier League.

“We saw another team [Manchester City] so far away from them, so it would have been outrageous for me to say that they [Manchester City] are going to finish second.

“They are so far away from there, which is why I said fifth.”

“I want to believe that it’s possible, and it’s impossible for me to put Manchester United before Chelsea. That’s impossible. I cannot do that. That’s the blood talking,” he said.
