Person dies after truck and car crash in Southland

A person has died after a truck and car collided in Southland earlier this month.

The two-vehicle crash happened at the Grove Bush and Rakahoka Hedgehope Roads intersection in Grove Bush on 10 August shortly after 5pm.

Police said one person was critically injured and they have since died in hospital due to their injuries.

A second person with moderate injuries has recovered.

The crash remains under investigation.
