ONA Marrickville cafe

Cafe$

This venue is one of Good Food’s 100 Essential Sydney Cafes and Bakeries of 2026.

If there’s a secret to this Canberra-born roastery’s success, it’s the ability to go deep while keeping things approachable. Smashed avo toast and house blends cover the basics, while adding a little flair. The avocado is amped up with chipotle-marinated tempeh, roasted corn and served on Iggy’s sourdough; seasonal espresso specials are known to include flavours such as maple, chocolate truffle and raspberry candy.

Want more? There’s a long, leather-bound drinks list to peruse, with rare and experimental coffees sourced from ethical farms across the world.

Best for: When you’re tired of your usual coffee order.
