According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
Rescue workers have freed two people from under the rubble and are continuing to deal with the aftermath of the nighttime attack on the capital in the Svyatoshyno, Solomyanskyi, and Darnytskyi districts.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko later reported 11 fatalities.

“According to updated data, 11 people were killed in the capital as a result of the enemy’s attack. Thirty-three city residents were injured,” the mayor said.
He added that as a result of the massive attack, damage was reported in three districts of Kyiv: Svyatoshyno, Solomyanskiy, and Darnytskyi.
In the Darnytskyi district, non-residential and warehouse buildings were damaged.
In the Svyatoshyno district, damage was reported to buildings in a non-residential area. Warehouse buildings also caught fire in the district.
In the Solomyanskyi district, the upper floors of a 9-story residential building were destroyed, and a fire broke out. The fire was extinguished. Near the building, windows were damaged in four residential buildings.
At another location, falling debris caused a fire on the top floors of a 4-story building.
Also in the Solomyanskyi district, a school and a children’s hospital were damaged. Windows were shattered at the medical facility, and cars were on fire on the grounds. The fire has been extinguished. Garages were also damaged.
Cleanup efforts following the attack are ongoing at the sites.
As reported by Ukrinform, it was previously known that on the night of August 20, five people were killed and 23 were injured in the capital as a result of a Russian ballistic missile attack.
