Nizhnekamsk Mayor Radmir Belyaev said that Russian air defenses had "successfully repelled another massive attack on the area" on the morning of August 20.

However, a number of Telegram channels reported that the Taneco oil refinery, owned by Tatneft, had been targeted.

The drones also reportedly attacked the Taman substation in Temryuk district, a key transmission node in the Kuban-Crimea energy bridge, and the Tamangazneft oil terminal in the village of Volna.

On July 30, Ukrainian drones destroyed 12 storage tanks at the terminal.

As reported, following a drone attack, a fire broke out at an oil refinery in Ufa, Russia, which was undergoing maintenance.
