According to Ukrinform, Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko reported this on Telegram.
He said emergency services were already heading to the scene.
In a subsequent post, the mayor reported that one person had been injured in the Holosiivskyi district, where firefighters were battling a blaze at the site of non-residential buildings. The injured person is receiving medical attention.

Air quality in Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district has temporarily deteriorated due to a fire at a non-residential building caused by the Russian attack.
Kyiv City State Administration reported on Telegram that the fire in the Holosiivskyi district has temporarily affected air quality.
Until the situation improves, residents are advised to keep windows closed, limit prolonged time outdoors, maintain adequate hydration and drink plenty of water. If an air purifier is available, experts recommend running it at maximum power.
Since the morning of August 20, air raid alerts have been declared six times in Kyiv because of Russian drones and Banderol loitering munitions. Authorities warned that air defense systems were operating.
In Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district, debris from an enemy drone previously fell onto a business center, causing a fire. One person was killed and two others were injured.
