Toronto police say they’re looking for a man in his late 50s or early 60s after he allegedly sexually assaulted a young child in a park.

Police said they were called to a reported sexual assault on Aug. 18 around 4:15 p.m. in Roundhouse Park, between the Rogers Centre and Steamwhistle, in Toronto’s downtown.

Investigators said a six-year-old was playing with the trains in the park, which features a rail museum, when the man walked up to the child and sexually assaulted them.

“When confronted by the child’s parent, the suspect sexually assaulted the child again and fled the area,” police said in a news release.

The man is described as between 55 and 60 years old, tall, with an average build. Investigators said he had glasses with a silver frame, a bald crown, and receding black and grey hair. Investigators released a photograph.
