That is according to Euractiv, Ukrinform reports.

"Construction of the solid-fuel production plant being built in Denmark by Ukrainian missile manufacturer Fire Point has been postponed until the end of 2027, while the cost of the project has more than tripled,” the report said.

The news outlet noted that the setback shows how difficult it is to shift Ukrainian weapons production onto EU soil, even when governments are willing to cut red tape to speed up defense projects.

Denmark eliminated more than 20 legislative hurdles for Fire Point to establish a solid-fuel production site for its Flamingo cruise missiles.

On July 24, FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles struck the AVITEK military plant in the Russian city of Kirov, about 1,200 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
