According to Ukrinform, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.

From 18:00 on Thursday, August 20, Russian forces launched 135 attack drones at Ukraine, including Shahed drones, Gerbera drones, and Parodiya decoy drones.

The drones were launched from the areas of the Russian cities of Kursk, Millerovo, Oryol, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from temporarily occupied Crimea and Donetsk.

The attack was repelled by Ukrainian aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.

As of 8:00 on Friday, August 21, air defense forces in northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine had shot down or jammed 107 Russian UAVs of various types, including Shaheds and Gerberas.

Hits by 27 enemy attack drones were recorded at 16 locations, while debris from downed targets fell at three other locations.

The Air Force stressed that several Russian UAVs were still being tracked in Ukrainian airspace and that the attack was ongoing.

As reported, during the night of August 21, a Russian drone struck a residential building in Sumy, injuring people.
