The United States, Taiwan and Japan need to work more closely together in developing and protecting technology, given the geopolitical challenges the countries face, according to speakers at a recent conference in Japan.
“Over the past few years, the global industrial landscape has changed rapidly,” said Hsiao Chen-Jung, director general of the Department of Industrial Development at Taiwan’s National Development Council (NDC).
He mentioned recent geopolitical conflicts, noting their effect on business, and added that Taiwan has played a crucial role in ensuring the tech industry has what it needs during times of stress.
