After a decade in Northbridge, Alisson Cote transplanted her popular vegan hangout to Freo in 2024 to, predictably, much excitement among locals. Just like the Aberdeen Street original, Flora & Fauna’s menu is crammed with dishes that are as colourful as the burnt orange, mid-century modern dining room they’re served in. Cote’s cooking ranges from the fun and virtuous – pumpkin smashed avocado toast, say – to base pleasures a la plant-based fried chicken doppelgangers.
