In the beginning, there was an eponymous Highgate cafe-bakery rocking brunch hits, house-baked breads plus some of Perth’s first examples of the pillowy, cakey doughnut. (Mary Street’s are still some of our best.)

Courtesy of its extended family – five outposts, a coffee roaster, many restaurants and cafes – team MSB is brightening the daily routines of many, from ace baked goods to Asian-influenced lunch and brekky dishes.

Good to know: The Highgate OG slings a steak sanger (rump, medium-rare, sliced) that’s as brilliant as it is unexpected.
