Don’t be deceived by Sandro Puca’s youthful looks: this journeyman chef has honed his craft at key Perth establishments, including Star Anise and Rochelle Adonis’s dessert studio. But despite this high-end pedigree, Puca’s colourful Vic Park living room is pleasingly casual. Staff are genuinely happy to see you, while little details – great jam in the raspberry choccy cake; slipping edamame into the avo smash – put neat spins on brunchtime favourites.
