Le Vietnam
Vietnamese$
When Emily and Duy Juong “DJ” Lee opened their CBD cafe in 2014, they didn’t just help popularise banh mi rolls, they also modernised the Vietnamese staple through flash variants (wagyu beef and fried chicken!) plus vegan fillings. Factor in their strong social media game, a tireless work ethic plus DJ’s warm smile at the till and it’s easy to see why Perth – and out-of-towners – show Le Vietnam so much love.
Good to know: Gluten-intolerant or counting calories? Banh mis also come in salad and rice bowl form.
