Humanoid robot crashes into wall during chaotic speed test
A robot sprinting down a track lost control while turning a corner and dramatically crashed into some metal boxes.
Ahead of the second annual World Humanoid Robot Games, which kicks off this weekend in Beijing, China, the robot can be seen frantically running around the track during a speed test before colliding with the boxes and falling to the ground.
Last year’s inaugural games saw more than 500 robots from more than 20 countries competing against each other in 26 events.
This year’s games will feature 50 events, including table tennis, tug of war, and weightlifting.
