Ukraine's State Guard Department reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"From August 22 to 25, 2026, temporary traffic restrictions will be in effect in Kyiv due to security measures involving foreign delegations. The restrictions will be introduced in the central part of the city, as well as on certain sections of roads in the Pecherskyi, Podilskyi, Solomianskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts," the statement said.

The State Guard Department urged residents to take the information into account when planning their movements around the city.

The Security Service of Ukraine earlier urged citizens to remain especially vigilant ahead of and on Ukraine's Independence Day on August 24 due to the possibility of Russian provocations and terrorist attacks.
