It’s been a hard day, Blizzard. When I need to relax after a long day of suffering The Horrors, I love to wind down with a game of Overwatch, a game that has never upset me. But after nerfing my boy Lifeweaver by giving irresponsible tanks and damage players the ability to cancel his life-saving Life Grip ability, you’ve seemingly yanked the guy from the game entirely.
If you boot up Overwatch right now, you’ll find almost no signs that Niran “Lifeweaver” Pruksamanee even exists. He’s been removed from the hero select screen, and you can’t even play him in the practice range. Why? No one’s quite sure. Blizzard hasn’t made any sort of announcement yet. Is there a game-breaking bug involving his kit? Is Blizzard excising the ability to cancel his Life Grip because it’s a net negative for the game? Nobody knows! We’ve reached out to Blizzard for comment and will update this story if we hear back.
Lifeweaver Disabled in #Overwatch ðª·
The support hero has been completely removed from the Hero Select screen across all modes, likely due to an undisclosed bug.
