Anna Faris is speaking out about her son Jack's religious convictions, revealing that he is a devout Christian like his father Chris Pratt.
The House Bunny star, 49, said on Thursday's episode of the Dear Chelsea podcast that she doesn't share the same deep sense of faith as her ex-husband, 47, and their 14-year-old boy.
'I didn’t grow up with religion,' Faris told host Chelsea Handler. 'He [Jack] has asked me to accept Jesus Christ… I told him that I would do anything for him, including this, but it's still going to take a whole lot of long conversations.'
The actress, who recently promoted her new movie Spa Weekend by dancing in a bikini with her co-stars Leslie Mann and Isla Fisher, shared that she's 'tried to challenge' her son when it comes to the hot topics.
'I'm like, "Do you think it's a luxury that you get to be pro-life? Do you think that's kind of a luxury?" He's like, "Maybe,"' Faris recalled.
'Or I'll say, "So what do you think of this mega-pastor that's kind of a grifter? What do you think?" He's like, "Oh, mega-pastors are the worst." So it's like, "OK, we're getting there."'
Anna Faris admitted she handles her 14-year-old son Jack's religious views by keeping the dialogue open on all ideas during Thursday's episode of the Dear Chelsea podcast

'I'm appreciative that he's examining religion the way he is in terms of recognizing hypocrisy, starting to recognize hypocrisy. And I'm appreciative that we can have these long conversations,' she added.
Faris also described Jack as emotionally stable and 'strong as a tugboat.'
'He just doesn't get easily jarred. He handles situations really well,' she said.
As for Pratt, 47, he embraced his faith with newfound appreciation after Jack was born nine weeks premature and weighing just three pounds, 10 ounces.
In a personal essay published in December 2025, the Jurassic World star wrote: 'When my son Jack was fighting for his life, I found myself back on my knees, pleading to God for a miracle. I promised that if Jack survived, I would devote my life to sharing God's message. This time I meant it.'
Faris and Pratt wed in July 2009 and were married for eight years before announcing their separation in August 2017. Their divorce was finalized in October 2018.
In June 2019, Pratt wed Katherine Schwarzenegger, the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, after meeting at a church service; the couple share three children, Lyla, six, Eloise, four, and Ford, who was born last November.

'It was only in the last, like, year, I think, that I really started to notice and appreciate if and when people recognize me, they would usually smile,' she said.
Chelsea then asked: 'Do you think that has to do with not drinking? I know you stopped drinking.'
'Yeah, I do. One of the many gifts,' Faris agreed. 'It turns out there's a correlation between drinking and depression, for me, for sure. I had to take a step back and not self-sabotage.'
The Scary Movie star went on to reveal she started hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to deal with symptoms of perimenopause, adding: '[It has made a] huge difference.'
