MEGHAN MARKLE MAY be making a return to acting, with multiple outlets reporting that she is in talks for a role in a Netflix show.
While discussions are in their early stages, it is understood that she may appear in the new season of The Gentleman, which would mark her first acting role since she tied the knot with British Prince Harry.
The Gentleman is an action-comedy series, which is a spin off the 2019 film.
It follows a duke, played by Theo James, who becomes a drug baron after he unexpectedly inherits his father’s country estate, which, unbeknownst to him, contains a massive cannabis farm.
Actors Hugh Bonneville and Vinnie Jones have appeared in previous series of the show.
The news comes after the royal couple announced they would be moving back to the UK after six years abroad.
Harry is estranged from his brother and the royal family after he levelled a barrage of accusations against the prince, Kate, the king and Queen Camilla in the years since the ‘Megxit’ crisis of 2020.
Markle was best known, before marrying the prince in 2018, for her role in the US legal drama Suits, where she played lawyer, Rachel Zane, for seven seasons.
Her last episode aired in 2018, the same year that she married Prince Harry.
