A popular seaside resort made famous by Gavin & Stacey is home to the cheapest beach huts in the UK.
Barry Island was the butt of many jokes in the hit BBC comedy, but it is the local residents who are having the last laugh after it was revealed that a beach hut in the area costs just £24 a day.
The small Welsh town is the fictional home of much-loved characters Nessa, Uncle Bryn and Gwen as well as the show's titular characters.
Twenty-four brightly coloured huts overlook Whitmore Bay and are just a stone's throw away from numerous locations from Gavin & Stacey.
This includes the real-life coffee shop Marco's and amusement parks where Stacey and Nessa worked and Barry's iconic beach where the Shipman and West families gathered for a seaside day out.
And in 2022, while rumours were rife about a potential Gavin & Stacey reunion, Larry Lamb and Alison Steadman - who played Gavin's parents Mick and Pam Shipman - were pictured in the same beach huts.
The huts are available to rent for families, day-trippers, or holidaymakers from the local council.

The Vale of Glamorgan Council, who rent out the huts, say: 'Barry Island has vibrantly coloured beach huts with excellent views across Whitmore Bay.
'Two blocks of twelve huts sit either side of the visually stunning climbing wall and take centre stage on the rejuvenated eastern promenade.
'Both are designed to provide families and groups visiting Barry Island with a comfortable base for the day as well as a private area to change and store their possessions for those that have hired them.'
The study by Monzo analysed the price of more than 1,000 beach huts and said the average hire cost from a council was £56 for a summer day and £223 for a week.
The next cheapest huts were Swanage Beach's Spa Beach Huts, at £26 a day.
Bournemouth Beach, Crooklets Promenade, Lowestoft & Felixstowe, and Swanage Beach's Shore Beach Huts at the upper level, all had huts at £30 a day.
