The 11th edition of the Kochi Spice Coast Marathon will be held on October 25, said a statement issued by Mayor V.K. Minimol.

The contest will begin and conclude at the Maharaja’s College ground. The Kochi Corporation will host the event organised by Soles of Cochin and supported by the Kochi City police.

The event will feature three categories — full marathon of 42.20 km, half marathon of 21.10 km, and family fun run of 5 km-8km. The marathon is open to professional runners, fitness enthusiasts, families, and first-timers. Discounts will be available for group registrations by running clubs, corporate firms, organisations, and friends’ collectives. The event is expected to attract participants from across Keralam and beyond.

The marathon will strengthen Kochi’s growing reputation as a major venue for running and sporting events, said Ms. Minimol.
