MOSCOW, August 23. /TASS/. A Russian Defense Ministry delegation has taken part in a meeting of a working subgroup on planning military cooperation between Russia and India, according to the website of the Russian Defense Ministry.

"On August 20-22, 2026, in the city of New Delhi, a delegation of the Main Directorate for International Military Cooperation of the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation took part in a meeting of the working subgroup on planning military cooperation of the Russian-Indian intergovernmental commission on military and military-technical cooperation," the ministry said.

During the negotiations, issues and prospects for the development of defense cooperation were discussed.
