Former Manchester United star Paul Pogba has drastically cut the price of his five-bedroom Cheshire mansion amid his exit from AS Monaco.
The midfielder has knocked £450,000 off the original asking price of £3.95million after struggles to offload the luxurious property.
Pogba, 33, initially put the mansion on the market in 2024, two years after leaving United – following six years back at the club – and was looking to secure a healthy £1million profit on the home.
However, with no buyers coming forward to purchase the property, the asking price was reduced to £3.5million earlier this month.
The ex-France international bought the secluded, security-gated mansion in a cut-price deal himself back in 2017, a year after his record-breaking £89million return to Old Trafford from Juventus.
Pogba oversaw a great change to the house, installing a 'unique' indoor football pitch and a cinema room. He also transformed the design of the open-plan living area, kitchen and bedrooms.

The 7,402-sq-ft property, situated in one of Cheshire's most affluent areas, also boasts a state-of-the-art gym and treatment room, but no longer features a swimming pool or sauna.
In 2022, the house was burgled while his two children were asleep in their bedrooms as he played for United against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
In a statement after the burglary, Pogba stated that it was his 'family's worst nightmare' and that the intruders stole their 'sense of safety and security' during a raid that lasted less than five minutes.
Pogba is currently without a club after his contract with the Monaco was terminated a year early following a series of injuries in pre-season.
The midfielder had been trying to revive his career following an 18-month doping ban but only featured in six games last season while earning £44,000-a-week in the principality.
Monaco confirmed on Wednesday that an agreement has been reached with Pogba to end his contract early.
The Ligue 1 club praised the midfielder's 'unwavering determination' and 'utmost professionalism' during his spell.
'Having jointly concluded that the objectives initially set were only partially achieved, AS Monaco and Paul Pogba have decided, ahead of the first match of the new season, to bring an end to the contract that was due to run until June 2027,' a statement read.

Daily Mail Sport understands Pogba was offered to MLS clubs last week, as he seeks his next venture in the sport.
Pogba was cleared to return to football in March 2025 after having a four-year doping ban reduced to 18 months on appeal. He had already left Juventus after having that contract terminated by mutual consent in November 2024.
The Frenchman was emotional when he signed for Monaco, describing his comeback as a second chance after what he called 'a time of darkness'.
The midfielder told Daily Mail Sport in 2024 that he discovered news of his reduced ban while preparing for a film premiere, adding: 'We went through hell. A time of darkness. But this is my second chance, I have to use it.'
Pogba enjoyed two spells at United and made over 230 appearances for the club, scoring 39 times and providing 51 assists.
