President Volodymyr Zelensky said this while speaking to journalists, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The window of opportunity to end the war is from the G20 in the United States until the end of summer 2027, because after that the presidential election process begins in the United States. We believe that, at present, this is the most active period during which diplomacy can lead to the end of the war. That is from the end of this year until the end of summer 2027,” Zelensky said in response to a question from an Ukrinform correspondent.
At the same time, he stressed that Putin wants to constantly demonstrate strength, is unwilling to engage in any dialogue, and seeks maximum escalation.
