Barcelona’s new signing, Karim Adeyemi, has named Lionel Messi and Ronaldinho as his two idols at the club.

Adeyemi stated this at his unveiling as a Barcelona player on Thursday.

“For me, it’s a unique opportunity. My role models and idols at Barça are Messi and also Ronaldinho, although there are many others,” Adeyemi said.

Adeyemi signed a contract with Barcelona that will see him remain at Camp Nou until 2031.

The 24-year-old had a somewhat average campaign with Borussia Dortmund last season.

Adeyemi scored 10 goals and provided six assists across 39 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund.
