Real Madrid forward, Vinicius Junior has shared a carousel post featuring himself working out with American actor Terry Crews, while also tagging Manchester City’s Erling Haaland to join him for a holiday.

After representing Brazil in the 2026 tournament, Vini is currently enjoying his off-season in his hometown of Rio de Janeiro before he begins pre-season training with Real Madrid.

“We are waiting for you, @erling,” Vinicius captioned the post

One of the images depicted the Real Madrid star and Crews each lifting a dumbbell. Another image showed Crews holding the Brazil national team jersey of the 26-year-old, while yet another captured the actor interacting with a member of the winger’s family.

Vinicius’ invitation to Haaland, which included Crews, originates from a meme that gained popularity during the 2026 tournament. Prior to the round of 16 match between Brazil and Norway, a parody of a scene from the 2004 comedy film White Chicks, where Crews sings to Marlon Wayans, circulated online.

In the edited version, Vinicius replaced Crews, and Haaland took the place of Wayans. The meme piqued Haaland’s interest, prompting him to comment on a post, suggesting that they should recreate it, to which the Brazilian replied with “Hahahaahahahaha.”

Vini and Haaland developed a strong friendship during the World Cup. Following Norway’s elimination of Brazil from the tournament, Vini interrupted Haaland’s post-match interview, leading to a brief handshake and hug between the two stars.

Haaland celebrated his 26th birthday on Tuesday, July 21. In a move that sparked considerable discussion, Vini commented, “Happy birthday bro see u soon,” on the Manchester City striker’s birthday post, leading fans to speculate about the meaning behind the phrase “see you soon.”
