Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma married his childhood sweetheart yesterday — with a host of his City team-mates in attendance at the lavish reception.

Erling Haaland was among the guests in Fasano, southern Italy, joined by his partner, Isabel Haugseng Johansen.

The Norway star, fresh from accumulating an army of new fans at the World Cup, opted for a black suit, bow-tie and sunglasses as he happily walked hand-in-hand with Johansen.

He was later pictured leading a group of guests in recreating Norway's iconic 'rowing' celebration from the tournament in North America.

City midfielder Mateo Kovacic was also pictured at the wedding. Italian football legend Paolo Maldini, former City boss Pep Guardiola and new Tottenham signing Sandro Tonali were also said to be among the attendees.

Donnarumma and Elefante, an interior designer, have been together for 10 years

Donnarumma, 27, tied the knot with his long-time partner Alessia Elefante, a 28-year-old interior designer.

The pair have been dating for 10 years, having met in their hometown of Castellammare di Stabia, near Naples.

They also have a son together — Leo, born in 2024. The couple announced their engagement in May with an Instagram post that read: 'Long-term contract signed.'

They wed in the Church of Saint George Martyr in the hilltop town of Locorotondo before joining the revellers in Fasano.

Haaland certainly enjoyed the night, excitedly banging a drum as chanting party-goers mimicked rowing — copying the post-match celebration that Haaland and his team-mates made famous in their impressive World Cup campaign.

The 26-year-old has been making the most of his break after the tournament, having holidayed in Italy with Johansen this week.
