According to Ukrinform, Yurii Ignat, head of the communications department of the Ukrainian Air Force Command, reported this on television.

“The debris found with markings from three weeks, one month, or two months ago, indicating that the missile was just recently manufactured at the factory, shows that they are not fully capable of stockpiling and scaling up their capabilities, and that they are indeed facing a problem. Because they’re using so many missiles, you can see that the percentage of ballistic missiles is increasing. “What I mean is that previously they launched significantly more cruise missiles than ballistic ones; now, over the past week, we’ve seen, it seems, more than 50 ballistic missiles attacking along a ballistic trajectory,” Ignat said.

According to him, these include missiles such as the Iskander-M, the S-400, and the Zircon missiles.

At the same time, the spokesperson noted that the Russians are also beginning to face difficulties, as the Defense Forces are carrying out long-range strikes not only against the oil refining industry but also against enterprises with unique technologies that produce missile components.

When asked about the characteristics of the enemy’s latest attacks, the spokesperson noted that the enemy cannot change its tactics every day, but pointed out that there has recently been an increase in missile strikes during the day.

“The enemy wants to achieve the element of surprise so that our Defense Forces have less time to prepare. This is a shift in the time frame—when everyone has gotten used to ballistic missiles being launched, say, at night, between 2:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.—that’s roughly the time they use most often—and then launching strikes at 9:00 a.m. or 12:00 p.m. Of course, the enemy is trying to achieve certain objectives this way, specifically through the element of surprise in their strikes. Otherwise, the enemy’s tactics remain unchanged—as you can see, they attack with Shahed UAVs every day and every night,” the spokesperson noted.

As reported by Ukrinform, Air Defense Forces shot down 123 drones used by the Russian army to attack Ukraine on the night of July 27. Enemy strikes were recorded at ten locations.
