True crime fans are being given another chance to get their forensic fix on a Virgin Voyages cruise.

The adult-only cruise line has unveiled details of its next True Crime Voyage for 2027, following its inaugural themed sailing that sold out in 2025.

Created in partnership with iHeartMedia, the cruise will feature a new line-up of true crime podcasts.

These include Disgraceland, which features host Jake Brennan exploring the criminal stories behind some of music’s most famous names.

Buried Bones, which featured on last year’s sailing, is returning. Guests can watch as journalist Kate Winkler Dawson and forensic investigator Paul Holes revisit compelling historical crimes, using modern investigative techniques to uncover new perspectives on old mysteries.

Passengers can also hear from the team behind Wisecrack, a series produced by Jodi Tovay about a comedian whose disturbing stage routine sparks an investigation into a real-life case.

Guests will be able to attend live recordings, meet the hosts and gain behind-the-scenes insight through “How to Podcast” sessions.

The five-night roundtrip departs from Miami, Florida aboard Scarlet Lady on 20 March 2027, calling at Grand Turk in the Turks and Caicos Islands and The Beach Club at Bimini, Virgin Voyages’ private beach club in the Bahamas.

There is plenty to enjoy on the ship including retro games, a pool and fitness classes, plus more than 20 places to eat and drink on board such as the Gunbae Korean BBQ.

Prices start from £826 per person.

Themed cruises are popular among passengers, ranging from chances to dress up for country music or 90s-themed voyages to seeing the solar eclipse.

Virgin Voyages also has a seven-night comedy cruise around northern Europe departing from Portsmouth in August 2027 aboard Valiant Lady. Guests can spend the day exploring cities such as Amsterdam, Hamburg and Bruges before spending the evening watching live stand-up comedy on board, from acts including Lucy Beaumont and Milton Jones.
