An Israeli attack targeted a group of Palestinian civilians in Deir el-Balah in central Gaza, in front of a UNRWA school where they were sheltering.

The injured were taken to the hospital, including a wheelchair user whose legs had been amputated in a previous Israeli airstrike, Al Jazeera reported.

Over the past 24 hours, Israeli attacks on Gaza have killed two people and wounded 12 others.

Another Palestinian has died from wounds sustained in earlier Israeli army violence, the Gaza Health Ministry said.

Daily attacks since the so-called “ceasefire” took place in October have killed at least 1,203 and wounded 3,900 in the besieged Strip.
