Teenage subway surfers filmed running along top of cars are tracked down by NYPD drones

A group of teenage subway surfers who ran along the top of cars were tracked down with NYPD drones.

Footage released by the force shows five teenagers running along the carriages of a moving B Train in Brooklyn on 20 July.

A later clip shows several of them running along the tracks and into a residential area, before a pair of officers apprehended them and took them into custody.

The force said that two of the teenagers were only 12 and 14 years old, respectively. One of the group was found with six stolen MTA cards.

Two days later, a 16-year-old was critically injured for the same dangerous stunt.
