WASHINGTON, July 27. /TASS/. The United States will be able to compensate the costs of the current military operation against Iran "many times over" in the future, US President Donald Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One.

"Venezuela, we paid for that war many times over, and that'll happen with Iran also," he said.

Early this month, US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth estimated the costs of the military operation against the Islamic Republic at approximately $37.5 billion.

According to Trump, the United States receives "billions of dollars" from Venezuela. "That'll happen with Iran too," he added.
