The ministry said this in a statement seen by Ukrinform.

The Inguar-4 armored repair and recovery vehicle (ARRV) was developed by a Ukrainian company specializing in the production of armored vehicles for a wide range of military missions.

It uses the same components and assemblies as the Inguar-3 specialized armored vehicle, which has demonstrated high performance in military missions for several years. However, the Inguar-4 features a reinforced frame, an additional driven axle, a powerful winch, and a hydraulic system for lifting and evacuation.

According to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, during testing, the Inguar-4 confirmed its stated tactical and technical specifications and demonstrated strong capabilities for recovering armored vehicles under challenging combat conditions.

The armored vehicle has a number of advantages over the tracked armored repair and recovery vehicles widely used by the Defense Forces, including higher evacuation and road speeds, greater range, no need for a trailer for transportation, lower operating costs, simpler and cheaper maintenance, a lower acoustic signature and greater survivability on the battlefield.

In addition, the crew experiences less fatigue during prolonged operation of the vehicle.

The Inguar-4 can recover Inguar-3, Roshel Senator, Kirpi, Kozak, Novator, Gyurza, International MaxxPro and other specialized armored vehicles weighing up to 30 tonnes from the battlefield.

The Inguar-4 has a 6x6 wheel configuration specifically designed to perform demanding military missions.

Thanks to its unique design, powerful engine and a range of innovative engineering solutions, the Inguar-4 achieves a higher top speed and greater mobility than other 8x8 wheeled armored recovery vehicles, including Ukraine's BREM-3BR and BREM-4M and Canada's LAV Super Bison.

The Inguar-4 is equipped with multilayer armor made of Armox steel and aluminum elements. Its protection level complies with STANAG 4569 Level 3.

The vehicle is fitted with blast-resistant seats, an automatic fire suppression system, heated armored glass and non-combustible materials in the cabin. Nearly 60% of the Inguar-4's chassis and suspension components are manufactured in Ukraine.

According to the Defense Ministry, the first Inguar-4 vehicles are already carrying out missions with Ukraine's Defense Forces.
