Converge showcases AI-ready infrastructure

MANILA, Philippines — As Southeast Asia moves toward an AI-driven economy, Converge ICT Solutions Inc. will showcase its digital infrastructure at ASEAN Tech Summit Manila 2026.

In a statement, the fiber internet service provider said it will highlight fiber networks, international cable systems, and AI-ready data centers that support businesses and government agencies.

Meanwhile, two executives will represent Converge as it transitions from a telecommunications provider into a technology company.

Grace Jarin-Castillo, head of the Global Business Group–Sales and Marketing, will deliver “Beyond the Fiber: Architecting the Digital Backbone for ASEAN’s Next Tech Wave.” In her session, she will explain how connectivity is evolving beyond broadband to support AI, cloud computing, fintech, cybersecurity, and cross-border digital services.

“Our digital economy is entering a new era where connectivity alone is no longer enough. Businesses now require an integrated technology ecosystem that combines resilient networks, cloud, cybersecurity, data centers, and managed services. As Converge evolves into a techco, we’re building the digital backbone that will enable ASEAN’s next generation of innovation,” Castillo said.

Meanwhile, Dindo Marzan, head of the SME Group, will join the panel “The Digital Supply Chain: Powering SMEs and the Economy Behind the Digital Economy.” He will discuss how enterprise-grade connectivity and digital solutions help micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) adopt technology and compete in digital supply chains.

“MSMEs account for the overwhelming majority of businesses in the Philippines, yet many are still taking their first steps toward digitalization. Our role goes beyond providing internet access—we’re helping businesses embrace digital tools that improve productivity, strengthen competitiveness, and unlock new growth opportunities,” Marzan said.

Together, the two executives underscore Converge’s goal of becoming a technology partner for organizations of all sizes through its digital infrastructure.

Currently, the company’s ecosystem spans one of the Philippines’ largest fiber networks, international subsea cables, data centers, and enterprise technology solutions.

As a result, these assets support rising demand for cloud services, AI workloads, digital finance, and mission-critical applications.

In addition, FinTech Alliance.PH organizes ASEAN Tech Summit 2026 with Southeast Asian fintech and innovation groups and the ASEAN Business Advisory Council Philippines. Converge co-presents the summit, which runs from July 28 to 29, 2026, at the Marriott Grand Ballroom.

Held during the Philippines’ ASEAN chairmanship, the summit will address digital inclusion, cross-border innovation, cybersecurity, AI, fintech, and economic integration.

Beyond the summit, Converge will showcase its connectivity, cloud, cybersecurity, managed services, and digital transformation solutions through an interactive exhibit.
