CrowdStrike will dominate the new market around agentic artificial intelligence security, according to Loop Capital. The investment firm initiated coverage on the cybersecurity company with a buy rating. It also placed a $230 price target on the stock, which represents a 27% gain from Monday's close. "CRWD is simply the best-positioned cybersecurity vendor in the emerging agentic AI era, which will likely to reach an inflection point in the enterprise adoption curve some time in the next few years," wrote analyst Yun Kim in a note. Kim believes that the company with the best security information and event management technology and security operations center will win the agentic AI era. That company, in his view, is CrowdStrike, based on his contacts in the cybersecurity industry. He added that CrowdStrike's sales team is not just the best in the cybersecurity industry, but in software as a whole. Kim said the team uses a strategy that takes into account both short- and long-term customer needs to act as a strategic partner. Shares of CrowdStrike at one point were down 25% in early 2026 on fears AI would disrupt the business models of cybersecurity companies . However, powerful new models that have exposed weaknesses in existing cybersecurity infrastructure have led for the stock to jump more than 53% this year, and more than double since its late February lows. "We highlight that Mythos scare is serving as the catalyst for all organizations to accelerate planning and deployment of their cybersecurity AI platform," he wrote. "The recent Hugging Face incident ," where an OpenAI model broke free of their training environment, "is a reminder of the power and sophistication of automated, AI agent-driven attacks leveraging LLM technology, generating a greater urgency in the market and further accelerating the timeline for when the inflection point occurs."
