Democratic political strategist Jessica Tarlov has no interest in “palling around or playing nice” with Donald Trump.

Tarlov, 42, who serves as a rotating co-host on Fox News’s The Five, revealed on a new episode of MeidasTouch that the president, 80, gifted her a customized Trump 2028 hat last Christmas.

He “said something like, ‘Thank you for your great support.’ And I get it that it’s funny for a cheap laugh,” she recalled. “I happen to think that he will do everything in his power to be able to stick around as long as possible.

“I’m not really interested,” she continued.

The two-term Republican has repeatedly teased an unconstitutional third-term run. He has been selling Trump 2028 hats since April 2025, despite previously acknowledging that the Constitution is “pretty clear” that he’s “not allowed” to do so.

In recent months, Trump has escalated his rhetoric, even telling reporters over the weekend: “I’m pleased to announce my intention to, and this is somewhat of a scoop, my intention to run for a fourth term as president of the United States.”

Still, Tarlov remains unconvinced by the president. “When people say that about Trump, like ‘Oh, you’d be so charmed.’ I’m just not interested in it. I think it’s a lot safer, frankly, to stay away from it.”

In April, Trump publicly attacked Tarlov, calling her “one of the Least Attractive and Talented People on all of Television” on Truth Social, after the Fox News host revealed the president’s negative poll numbers.

“Her voice is so grating and terrible, I had to ‘turn her off!’ Her Democrat soundbites are FAKE. She makes up ‘Poll Numbers,’ and nobody challenges her, because she is so boring,” Trump wrote at the time.

He later demanded that Fox News take Tarlov off the air, branding her a “real loser.”

“For Fox executives only, take Jessica Tarlov off the air,” the president said on Truth Social. “She is, from her voice, to her lies, and everything else about her, one of the worst ‘personalities’ on television, a real loser! People cannot stand watching her.”

Tarlov, who joined Fox as a contributor in 2017, had bashed Trump’s popularity during a round-table discussion with her co-hosts on The Five, sparking the president’s tirade.

“He has a 35 percent approval rating in most polls,” Tarlov said, later adding, “No Americans wanted the tariffs, they didn’t want the war in Iran, and they don’t want the ballroom.”
