Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"As part of the Ukrainian delegation led by President Volodymyr Zelensky, I took part in a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump and our American colleagues at the White House. We held a substantive discussion on the diplomatic and security steps needed to bring a just peace closer," Budanov wrote.
He said that Ukraine and its American partners share a clear understanding of the need to end the war as quickly and fairly as possible.
"We agreed to intensify the negotiation process at all levels. We thank the United States for its unwavering support for Ukraine," Budanov added.

As previously reported, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. President Donald Trump also discussed licensing the production of interceptor missiles for Patriot air defense systems.
