One hospitalised after 'domestic-related' incidents at two Auckland properties

Two properties have been cordoned off and a person has been hospitalised following overnight incidents on Auckland's North Shore.

Ambulances attended call outs to addresses on Lingfield St in Glenfield and Seon Place in Birkdale after 8pm Tuesday.

It is not known how many people were involved in either incident, though police told the New Zealand Herald the incidents were "domestic-related" and one person had been arrested.

"One person is in custody and police are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident. Police can confirm there are two scenes, and inquiries remain ongoing."

St John told RNZ it responded to the Birkdale address with an ambulance and a critical care unit and one person was taken to North Shore Hospital in moderate condition.

They were called to the Glenfield address at 8.50pm and were still at the scene shortly before 10pm. They referred further inquiries to police.

St John was unable to confirm either incident was a stabbing and police are yet to respond to questions.
