2 men found guilty of murdering Daniel Langlois and Dominique Marchand in Dominica

Two men have been found guilty of murdering Daniel Langlois and his partner Dominique Marchand in Dominica, according to Radio-Canada.

Jonathan Lehrer and Robert Snyder were found guilty on Tuesday at the courthouse in Roseau, the Caribbean country's capital.

According to Radio-Canada, it only took a few hours for the jury to reach the verdict.

In December 2023, the couple was found dead in a burnt-out car in the Caribbean country where they had lived since 1997.

Langlois, a computer animation pioneer, became a global success story with his company, Softimage, which produced 3D animation software that was used in movies such as Jurassic Park.
