A man has died after a collision between a ute and a car, south-west of Brisbane, with two others rushed to hospital in life-threatening conditions.
A Ford Ranger and a Hyundai i30 were involved in the crash on the Centenary Highway near the roundabout to Ripley, just before 9pm on Tuesday night.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 35-year-old Plainland man, died at the scene.
His passenger, a 30-year-old woman also from Plainland, and the 18-year-old South Ripley man driving the Ranger, were taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, both in life-threatening conditions.
Forensic crash police are investigating the accident.
