MANILA, Philippines — A total of 5,602 police officers nationwide were promoted by the Philippine National Police (PNP) on Wednesday. There were 1,877 commissioned officers and 3,725 non-commissioned officers promoted in several ceremonies across all police regional offices, according to data shared by the PNP. Among the promoted commissioned officers were 1,119 police majors, 241 police captains, and 517 police lieutenants.
