VLADIVOSTOK, July 29. /TASS/. The Rezky corvette of the Russian Pacific Fleet has returned to its home base after a 160-day deployment, the Pacific Fleet press service reported.

"A detachment of warships of the Russian Pacific Fleet and the People’s Liberation Army Navy of China arrived in Vladivostok after completing joint patrol exercises in the Asia-Pacific region. The corvette Rezky was the first to dock at the main berth of the Pacific Fleet's Primorye Flotilla of All-Arms Forces. The corvette's crew received a special welcome, as the joint Russian-Chinese patrol concluded its lengthy deployment to the distant sea zone, lasting approximately 160 days," the statement reads.

The press service noted that the ship had traveled more than 27,000 nautical miles. During the welcoming ceremony, Rear Admiral Alexander Bagdasarov, Chief of Staff of the Primorye Flotilla of the Pacific Fleet’s All-Arms Forces, thanked the crew for successfully completing the long-distance deployment tasks and presented the corvette’s commander, Captain 2nd Rank Yevgeny Kovalev, with a roast piglet.
